Anacostia Unmapped 2.0 Opens!

Anacostia Unmapped 2.0 is a must see design and cultural experience for DC and metro area residents alike. Each installation encourages the viewer to reflect on the importance of honoring everyone’s Anacostia story and the influence of art and culture in our lives.

Local mixed media and multimedia artists spent 4 months preparing new artwork to extend the stories of the award winning radio documentary, Anacostia Unmapped. The exhibition features 12 DC artists:

Kymone Freeman, V. Kuroji Patrick, Katie Davis, John Johnson, Daniel Nathan, Sheila Crider, Kenadi Johnson, Yetunde Mondie Sapp, Melani Douglass, Aniekan Udofia, Demont Peekaso Pinder, and the Anacostia Watershed Society. Karen R Baker curated the exhibit.

Anacostia Unmapped 2.0 opens August 6 and runs until September 14, 2018 at the CAH Gallery 200 I Street, SE. The exhibit is accessible by bike and the Navy Yard Metro.
